Lose 25 Pounds FAQ:
How long will it take for a 16 year old female to lose 20 pounds when eating a healthy diet of 1200 calories, drinking water, walking for 30 minutes a day-7days a week, dancing for 30 minutes a day 5 times a week, and do strength training for 30 minutes 3 times a week. How long will it take to lose 25 pounds doing that? Only respond if you are going to actually answer my question. Please no rude remarks. Thanks!!

It will probably take 1-2 weeks if you definitely stick to it. Good luck. I would love to have that kind of drive!
Well, a healthy, normal weight loss is one pound a week (sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less, depending on the person). So 20 weeks, or aproximately five months.
it also depends on your metabolizm. How much weight you have to loose. obviously A big person will be able to loose 25 pounds a lot easier that a skiny person. I’ve lost 28 pounds in a week. but thats when I weighed 300 pounds.
For an average sized girl slightly over weight. I’d say at least a month. As it is much harder for women to loose weight.
It depends on how fast your metabolism works to start with. If you have a slow metabolic rate, I’d say 10 weeks or more. If you have a fast metabolic rate, I’d say twelve weeks or more. If you lose it any faster, you’ll gain it all back plus more. Your body will go into starvation mode and will cling to every last calorie, converting it to fat. BUT your every choice is a great way to lose weight. Likely, you will lose the weight faster, but there’s really no reason to sabotage your health to lose weight as fast as you can. Better to be healthy than rushing to lose weight. Your body will thank you for it.

It DEPENDS on your current weight too..If you are on the chubby side it won’t take long but if you are already not chubby and want to lose more weight it might take longer. From personal experience if you are not even overweight/chubby it takes longer. You are eating 1200 calories a day but what are you also eating. Your exercise plan is good but what are you going to be feeding yourself? You should not go on vegetables/yogurt all day too..Go with a healthy diet. Since you are going to be working out you should consume more proteins and vegetable. Cut pop/soda,candy, chips any sugar stuff and also fruits(b/c) fruits is high in sugar. You will loose weight faster too then. I am not sure how long it will take but my MIL is overweight, she had to stop snacking or chips, sugar, fruits etc and eat more protein and snack on vegs she lost 10pounds in a month..but I don’t think her exercise regime is as good as yours you might be able to lose more since you will be active. good luck!
