Lose 25 Pounds FAQ:


I am 19, 5′9 and 165 pounds. I really just want to lose 25 pounds or so. I had lost it last year by calorie counting but I didn’t keep it off. Is there a book or program that works?

I tried Weight Watchers with my mom but it was a giant fail.

no soda at all, only water. walk everywhere you go. cut your meals in half or by 1/3 and stick to it

Exercise daily, drink plenty of water, eat healthy, cut portions but still treat yourself or you will feel deprived.

Well basically it’s eat what you are eating now..but less…Do some exercise before or 30min-1hr after eating…Some people fast to lose weight…but that is the WORST way to lose weight because they are injuring their body…So just eat a well balanced diet[you know the food pyramid...] exercise..

I was in your exact same situation a year ago. Same height and weight, and now I’m in the 130’s. It just takes a lot of hard work and determination ( I know you probably don’t want to hear that). I gave up almost every drink except for water, ate small meals and no snacks! I also only ate white meat. I limited my foods to basically white meat, vegetables, fruits, cereals, yogurt, and wheat bread. I walked for an hour every day and exercised 30 min every night and ate nothing after 8. BUT what a did was also bit unhealthy and I lost the weight rapidly. I suggest doing what I did, but in a less extreme form, like maybe adding a LITTLE bit more room in the diet and also limiting exercises for a few times a week. Try losing 1-2 pounds a week and weigh yourself every day. Once you start losing weight, it somewhat becomes a self motivator. I also suggest using creams like palmer’s cocoa butter along the way to prevent sagging skin. Hope this helps! Good Luck!
Oh! I should also add that once the weight is gone, you are able to be much more lenient on you diet and excerises because you metabolism should be higher from exercising and your young age. But don’t be too lenient!

You don’t need any diet scam to lose weight all you need is to be determined. If you really want to lose weight you will eat correctly and exercise (cardiovascular).

in order to lose weight, you must have long term goals (say 2-3 months), with shorter interval goals (1 week = - 2 lbs)

i know a good method (not very fast or rapid) but easier to maintain (so you stay committed) and higher chance for great success.

I read an article once on a fitness website (http://www.snaphaltonhills.com/index.php?option=com_sngevents&id[]=112482). I don’t think you need to lose that much, but it just goes to show that short term goals for each week for a longer term overall goal is highly effective (that’s what trainers do for you).

When I looked more into what kind of program the men tried, I discovered a certain diet they have been following, along with workouts suggested by their trainers. i have read their testimonials too and can show you if you want.

yes it seems expensive, but it can replace half your monthly meal, and comes along with great program guides. the kit contains meal replacement nutrition bars (good nutrition, low calories), carb blockers, etc

if you want, you can just try and follow the program from the 4 free PDFs in the link, and try to replace some of the snack bars with alternatives from stores. but i think overall, the kit would be cheaper, and of higher quality. some items could probably not have alternatives at stores, but you can buy them individually from that site. just explore it. they even got 8 calories XS energy drinks (for exercise) with 0 sugars and carbs!

First of all, you should concentrate on eating healthier and don’t worry about how much you weigh. Your goal should be to lose fat, be healthier, look better, feel better, have more energy.

1. Eat protein with every meal.
2. Eat 7 small meals/day.
3. NO JUNK FOOD AT ALL.
4. Drink nothing but water.
5. Do weight training (No, you will not get big and bulky)
6. Have a protein shake after your workouts.
7. Eat more vegetables.
8. Eliminate bread from your diet.
9. Eliminate cheese from your diet.
10. Eat only complex carbs (brown rice, oatmeal, wheat pasta)
11. Take a high powered multivitamin from GNC or Whole Foods.
12. Take 6 grams of Tonalin brand CLA everday with food.

I guarantee you will lose FAT.
