Here are a few tips;
WHEN to eat for losing weight…
• Eat (at least) three times a day.
Because when you eat only once a day, your metabolism gets slower than it already is! That’s the main reason. Sounds funny, but to lose weight… you must eat (the right things, of course)
• Eat low-fat, high-fiber foods such as salads and vegetable pastas.
• Your last meal should be before 18:00. Try.
OK, one apple after 18:00
• Don’t starve
Starvation is not good for losing weight, nor your health.
Starvation is the worse thing you can do in a weight loss diet.
• Try oatmeal instead of cornflakes for breakfast–eating oatmeal can help reduce cholesterol levels, and its high fiber content will keep you full longer.
WHAT to drink for losing weight…
• Drink 6-8 glasses of water every day !
Can be tap, plain, mineral, sparkling. I just love mineral sparkling water!
This improves your bowel, reduces the “hunger” sensation, and hydrates your skin. Your skin will look much better after the first weeks!
Don’t believe the slogan “water makes me fat”. Besides being stupid… you might get into serious troubles with your kidneys.
• Drink ONLY natural juices, freshly squeezed!
Don’t drink Coca Cola, Pepsi, and Sprite etc. during the diet. Even lite or light versions.
• Avoid those vending machines by carrying around your own healthful foods and leaving pocket change at home.
Exercise for losing weight…
• If you want quicker results - exercise would be good.
• Don’t just sit in front of the TV and eat peanuts…
I guarantee THIS won’t work for your weight loss…
• Start a regular exercise program and stick with it. Don’t be afraid of those sweat suits and Lycra pants!
• Start swimming. Swimming is an excellent exercise to get involved with, since it increases blood flow and uses muscles we don’t regularly use. Start a swimming program and try to do it 3 times a week. You will feel excellent and rejuvenated.
• Choose an exercise program that you enjoy, and don’t shun the unconventional. For instance, did you know that regular vigorous dancing is exercise too?
• Also Cardiovascular exercises such as running, jogging, or aerobics will help you lose that unwanted belly fat. Weight training can also help you lose body fat because the more muscle mass you have, the more ability your system has to burn body fat.
Good luck!
sweety join a gym okay theres a good answer
eat smaller portions, cut out sweets, stop drinking your calories (like soda, juice, coffee) and exercise regularly.
i reccomend swimming though. Its the least painful and helps out with your breathing and calms you down. You can do situps with it but cardio is essential to losing that fat.
First off, you’ll need to change your diet. You don’t need to eat anything expensive, just whole grains and fruits/vegetables. Avoid eating processed sugar/flour. So don’t eat sugary products, and eat wheat products. So instead of buying white bread, buy wheat bread.
Also, eat lean meat such as light chicken/fish.
pushups- try for 20 per day, then increase by 10 each week
situps- Situps don’t make you lose fat, it builds muscle, and only really builds muscle when you’re also lifting extra weight. (situps with weights) so don’t do situps for losing weight. Also you can not spot reduce fat, it only burns all over, not only in one place.
Running up and down 15 stairs- Run for at least 30 minutes at a time. Seriously, you will need to at least be working for 30 minutes continuously 5 days a week to lose weight.
i recommend amputating a leg =p
I’ve never been one to exercise, but I have always dieted when my weight got back up. I’m an avid weight watchers fan. So I don’t know if that could be a possibility for you. There website is great (for a fee) if you don’t want to attend classes. But you can google their recipes and that doesn’t cost a cent. And even though I no longer attend I know how to eat right. Sinice I am broke myself this is how I usually try to eat if I want to lose weight:
Pay attention to your portions. If you are sitting down for dinner don’t go back for seconds.
Take in a lot of fiber. Just read the nutrition facts on everything you by.
Look out for things that say low fat or fat free. There are always other options when you are grocery shopping to cut calories.
Make fresh foods and less pre-prepared foods (pastas in a box, macaroni and cheese, etc.)
Your are supposed to get in five servings of fruit and vegetables a day plus I think 8 glasses of water (of course I’m rarely disciplined enough to do this).
Snacks….see what the serving size is. Say you buy the Baked Dortios and the serving size is 16 chips, just eat 16 chips. (BTW, the Light chips are the healthiest.) Also, Weight Watchers has pretty good ice cream. =)
Buy 100 calorie packs. Those are great.
Frozen lunches I know aren’t the best, but I know at least when you buy the Smart One’s and if they are around 5 points, that is pretty good for one meal.
Oatmeal is good too. The Quaker Low sugar ones are the best. Grits also.
Don’t use real sugar.
Olive Oil and not Vegetable Oil and get the light butter, not regular butter.
Meat: Chicken and Turkey are usually pretty healthly (boneless skinless of course.) Beef….buy the lean.
I know yogurt is pretty good too. Buy some low fat and mix it with some healthy cereal.
Some carrots (our your preferred raw veggie) with some low fat ranch is a good snack. Just compare the different kinds of nutrition facts. Just because it says it’s low fat doesn’t mean it is the best.
I hope I didn’t go overboard. I’m sure I could have gone over more. But I gained fifty pounds (I weight 170 pounds) when I got pregnant and this was the only way I got back to my original weight (120) and that was without working out. I probably could have done so much better working out.
