lose 25 pounds
Lose 25 Pounds FAQ:

I just quit smoking about a month ago and I blew up like a puffer fish. I gained 25 pounds and can barely fit into my T-shirts anymore. It has become a sad picture. Can anyone help me lose the weight and the bellyfat?

Please do not try fad diets that rarely work in the long run and consider a healthy life style change.

The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:

*1) Burn more calories then you’re consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity minus the Thermic Effect of Food (TEF). It is difficult and unhealthy to lose more than one or two pounds per week. There are 3,500 calories in a pound. If you eat 500 fewer calories per day for a week you will lose one pound. If you burn through exercise 500 more calories per day for a week you will lose one pound.

*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.

Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as potatoes) and drink lots of water. Read this article for more information on high GL Carbs:…

If you have the money, I suggest buying a Wii. There are several games such as Wii sports and Wii fit that allow easy weight loss. I have lost a small amount of weight after playing the console every day since Christmas. Just an hour a day should lose you some weight in no time.
Hope this helps.

Exercise and try a balanced diet that reduces fat.

Reducing your fast intake is the only way to lose weight and have better health.

Fruits ans veggies will clean up your body from the rest of nicotine.

The only way to lose weight and keep it off is to change you eating and exercising habits.
Start exercising about 3 times a week for 20 minutes and work up to exercising 3-4 times per week for 40-60 minutes.
you should have a mix of cardio training and weight training. cardio will burn fat and weight training will help increase your metabolism so you burn more fat all the time.
You should eat every 2-3 hours to keep your metabolism high. if you wait long times between meals your metabolism will slow way down and the next time you eat the food will be much more likely to be stored as fat.
Your diet should consist of a healthy blend of fats, protiens, and carbohydrates. Fats should come from unsaturated and omega 3’s. good sources are nuts, salmon, etc. Protien should come from lean meat and dairy like chicken, skim milk, and egg whites. Carbohydrates should be complex carbohydrates from whole grain breads, cereals and pastas.
Good luck, the biggest thing is discipline.

and if you want to have an estimate of how many calories you should eat each day to reach a goal weight, this helps:

The single most significant factor to focus on is diet. Of course exercise also has a part to play, but number one is diet. After all what is the use of a fantastic set of abs which are covered by an excess of body fat?
Number two, focus on workout intensity and on working your body as a whole, this will provide the greatest metabolic response and target the loss of stubborn body fat. To get really lean, ensure your workouts are high intensity, minimize rest periods and work on the largest muscle groups of the body, there is no real need to focus on the smaller body parts using isolation exercises for small muscle groups like the shoulders biceps, or calves.
