i need to lose about 25 pounds within a month or two. so does anyone have any good diet and exercise tips that work? i really need to lose this wieght fast and keep it off. what would be the ideal weight for me? im 13, 5 foot 6 and weigh about 136 pounds (gained from pills) and what is the right way to do sit ups or crunches when i do them it hurts my neck, so i think im doing them wrong. i wanna lose wieght mostly in my stomach and legs. someone please help me! thnx :) lol

No way of losing 25 pounds fast…healthy. You are supposed to aim for losing about a pound a week at your weight.

About the situps/crunches:
When I first did them I felt like I was doing a neck workout not abs. lol
But now I do them without feeling any strain & I can go up all the way.
My tips are:
Try to relax your shoulders/neck and focus all engery on abs.
Look at the ceiling!! not at your tummy or knees.

It’ll get easier eventually just dont giveup.

start by eating a healthy large breakfast

and yes drinking water

then now eat only when you are hungry that will help

you are very young & tall to be worrying about your date, you will grow and as you grow, you will get thinnner…but if its bothering you here it goes:

diet:
eat 6 meals/day (small meals..breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack)
-dont eat 3 hours prior to going to sleep
- as soon as you wake up - EAT
- as soon as you wake up drink 2 cups of cold water, right before going to bed drink 2 cups of steaming water
-for breakfast, eat oatmeal (the unsweetened unflavoured one - nasty one) its not so bad once u get usto it..this will keep you fuller longer & will also burn fat.
-eat nuts, they are high in protein (dont over load)
- dont get full off meals, eat slowly, drink lots of water…stay away from sweets, alcohol.

for your exercise:
i would suggest doing cardio 3x/week - 20-30 minutes (during this time u need to GO AT IT) by the time ur done, your *** better be sweating like a pig :) - do lots of leg/back/ab/chest workouts - the reason i say this is because these are large muscles, when you work out mucles, you burn more fat because your muscles need to eat (they eat the fat that surrounds your body/as well as the protein intake from your food) this will speed up your metabolism, making you lose weight quicker.
