first, I would say throw away your scale and don’t worry about weight. in every magazine i have read, i read that the best way to be comfortable with yourself is a mirror and weight shouldnt matter because muscle weighs more than fat so those 25 pounds that you want to lose could be from muscle.
second, snack less, don’t eat after eight , and maybe instead of three meals eat five real small meals , not five meals , five SMALL meals. this will cut out snacking but keep you satisfied.
third, get some of your friends to work our with to make it fun and that way you won’t dread working out every day. or maybe walk your dog once a day.
that is great that you are wanting to start being healthy. I agree with other posters don’t worry about your weight so much. Just focus on what you put into your body. If you do this your weight will balance out and your skin and nails will be amazing. Healthy people naturally glow, it is the best way to become a beautiful person.
A good general rule is eat what nature provides. So fresh fruit and veggies, oats, lentils, barley, beans, lean meat, eggs, milk, cottage cheese, yogurt.
Look at your labels don’t eat anything that has hydrogenated oils or high fructose corn syrup. These are very destructive to your insides.
You want to move away from any processed food so any food that comes from a company in a box. Most the good nutrients has been long gone.
I hope this helps and gets you started and excited. Good Luck
