Exercise, just excercise.
mostly lean meats, fish, veggies, some fruit, no carbs
this will help too
25lbs will take 12 1/2 to 25 months. You can’t lose 25lbs in 6 weeks. I don’t care if you have prom coming up or are going on vacation, you just can’t lose that much. Well, I take that back, you can technically, but if you did, it wouldn’t be all fat. Most of it would be lost water weight and muscle mass (not good!).
To lose fat:
1. DON’T BELIEVE THOSE FAD DIETS! DIET PILLS ARE GIMMICKS! Yes, Acai berries/pills/juice is a fad diet.
2. DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF! Unless you are tiny as it is, a 1,200 calorie a day diet is DANGEROUS and won’t work in the long run.
3. Find the ammount of calories you need to eat per day to maintain your weight. Try this link:
4. Eat healthy and eat about 500 calories below that number. Eating too little will result in loss of water weight and muscle mass, not fat (what you actually want to lose).
5. Eat 5-6 small meals a day. This keeps your metabolism up. Each meal should include fruits, veggies, water, and protein. Oatmeal is great for breakfast.
5. Drink at least 64oz (8 8oz glasses) of water a day. No soda (that includes diet soda). A great FAQ for proper diet (and general fitness):
6. Do light/moderate cardio 3 to 5 times a week for 30 to 45 minutes each time. Running, bicycling, and swimming are great for this. If you are obese, do low impact stuff like walking or swimming.
7. Do some strength training to make sure you lose fat and not muscle. Don’t worry; you won’t look like the hulk if you lift weights.
8. You should lose about 1-2lbs (.45-.9kg) per week. If you lose more than that, chances are the rest is stool, water weight, or even muscle mass.
Be patient and be smart. If you follow this guideline you will be very happy with your results. Good luck!
losing that much weight that fast is extremely unhealthy you are at a very high risk of heart attack and blood clots you should only loose about 8lbs a month to stay healthy losing more the first month is ok you should eat a balanced diet of healthy foods.
Umm, yeah, unless you starve yourself and workout like 8 hours a day, then that’s probably not gonna happen.
Sorry to disappoint you, but that’s the truth…
you can do the no carb diet… which is hard but you can loose up to 16 lbs in 2 weeks. You can pretty much only eat meats and salads and walk about 30 minuets a day.
another way, you can go to the food pyramid guide website and find out a meal plan for you and an exercise plan, that’s what i did and i lost some weight. Hope this helps (:
To lose weight, exercise as well as before going to bed in the night, mix one tablespoon of honey to warm water and drink.
First off, the key is to exercise. I highly recommend moderate jogging for half an hour everyday, or lots and lots of sports. After long exercises like these, you will be starving. Eat only lean meats and other foods that are low in simple carbohydrates. For example, don’t eat rice, bread, and sweets if you can avoid it.
There are a lot of other little things you can do. The whole trick is to maximize your metabolism and calorie burning, while decreasing your calorie intake as much as possible. You can increase your metabolism by taking in proteins, eating spicy food (such as chili peppers, NOT spicy barbecue wings), and drinking green/oolong/black tea. They all have certain chemicals that will help you lose fat. You can also do short bursts of extreme weight-lifting (I recommend 3 sets of 15 repetitions, if you don’t want showy muscles). I consider this one the safer weight-loss plan.
If you plan on doing the classic crash dieting, where you do just one meal a day, make sure that you exercise until you feel like dying. Sure, it might shorten your lifespan by a year or two, but I personally feel that it’s the fastest way to lose weight. But this one’s very unhealthy.
Everything below in the quotes is mainstream information that is not nearly effective as other methods.

First of all, long bouts of cardio is next to useless. Secondly, eating 5-6 small meals a deal is time consuming(who wants to eat all the time, because they have to? Especially small unsatisfying meals?) and what really matters is that you just cut back your calories, how you do it, is up to you. There is no real scientific research supporting the small meals 5-6x a day method to increase metabolism, it does in to a VERY insignificant degree. So if you want to spend half your day eating and preparing meals, thats your business. Oh and the 64oz of a water a day, yeah thats true, but you get water from EVERYTHING you drink or eat(fruits, veggies, meats, milk), it doesn’t mean straight up 8 glasses of water.
What you need to do are short but high intensity workouts, strength training and metabolic conditioning, and intermittent fasting(only drinking water for 24 hours 1-2x a week is what I do, my body fat percentage is now down to 12%, going for 9-10%). 25 pounds is unlikely in 6 weeks, but 15-20 is highly doable if you stay focused and consistent with a healthy low calorie diet, and progressive and effective high intensity exercise.
