anyone knows what kinds of foods i should eat and also the type exercises i should do to achieve this.the reason why is because july 18th is the day i go on summer vacation and i want to surprise everybody.also im a 17 yr old boy who currently weighs 217 pounds and so far ive gone down from 258 pounds and my heights 5-8 to 5-9.thanks alot

Just eat below 1000 calories a day and you’ll definitely lose weight. I did that and it worked. However, some people can’t discipline theirselves to do so…and may need more calories or they’ll pass out.

just push your car to work and back for a month…that’s what we’ll be doing soon anyway if the gas prices keep going up!

you’ll need to keep busy and eat according to how active you are for that day. you would have to keep it under 1500 calories a day but can add more by being active, can add up to about a 1000 more a day depending on how active you are. it’s not a healthy approach to weight lost because you’ll gain it back quickly once you’re done with the extreme diet.

You shouldn’t lose weight that fast or your body will think it is in starvation mode and will slow down your metabolism. Then, when you start to eat normally again, your body will be very very efficient at storing fat and you will gain all the weight back and then some. Don’t worry about the fat, worry about your health and just focus on exercising a lot and eating healthy foods. Exercise is really the key here. It will speed up your metabolism and make you burn fat faster. It is generally not a good idea to lose more than 1-2 lbs per week, or else it puts a tremendous strain on your body. Good luck, and don’t lose weight to impress others, do it for your health.

eat 1500 calories a day. spread them out to 4 meals a day. that will keep your metabolism high. then do some exercise once a day. don’t be extreme…that will lead to gaining weight back, because you cant keep it up.

Hey! congrats on your weight loss so far! I’d like to point out a low carb forum where I am a member. I generally have been following atkins but it covers all LC diets. You’ll have to join to see journals and pictures, but it’s free anyway.
