I eat well but not excessively. I do very limited exercise due to being senior citizen with normal aches etc

Eat less Carbs and sugars, eat more protein, fruit and veggies. If you still want to drink a few beers, drink the low carb beers. Walk as much as your body will allow you.

12 days per pound at 100 calories per bottle, so 300 days. This is not a very effective way to do it.

Considering you are ONLY asking for a length of time to lose the weight WITHOUT changing ANYTHING else, it is my opinion that merely eliminating 3 LIGHT beers, (Miller Lite being ONE of the lightest), is going to take YEARS if ever. But, good luck fella!

Three Miller lights are not the only factor in the 25 lbs. You are probably eating too much of the wrong foods and “eating well” says you are eating too much. I’m getting on in age and I drink some beers but I stay very slim because of a regulated diet and my principal exercising is walking - excellent for keeping in shape and for health. As you might have seen on Answers, a good way recommended by those who do it is to have, say, six small meals instead of fewer larger meals. I am principally on a very low fat but very healthy regime - very largely salads and fruit many other raw foods, (have stopped eating meat), lots of grains, cheeses and small number of eggs. The change to that diet helped me shed a lot of weight in a few weeks. I’m happy I did as my health is dramatically better, all aches and pains have gone. and I can walk for miles and also benefit from fresh air and vitamins you get from the sun. I learned from seeing that my father’s aches and pains were in large part because of a very bad unbalanced diet of 80% meat, very little veg and raw foods and not exercising at all. He suffered tremendously from athritis, ulcers, many other illnesses.and in the end was not able to exercise at all.
