HI!

I weight 129 pounds, I’m 5′1.5″and I’m 17 years old. I need to lose about 25 by that time so I can look good in a prom dress (I’m buying it in December so it cost less). I do about 30 minutes of walking everyday and half an hour of pilates or yoga on the weekdays and a full hour and the weekend. I try to swim twice a week for an hour or more each time. I am also trying to eat only 1200 calories a day and I rarely eat junk. Should I change anything?

try to make the 30minute walk to a 1hr or 30min run i lost 68lbs in 6mo’s jsut by running and i still ate every thing

um working hard and running dedication is key so dont give up push yourself try and cut back on protien but then again dont starve yourself of nutrition

I think you’re doing fine. Drink lots of water, and don’t starve yourself because then your body shuts down the metabolism and stores fat. I’ve heard the best way is to eat 5 very small meals a day of very healthy, non-fattening foods…..vegies, fruit, etc. Keep up the walking and other excercising you’re doing. The pounds should start coming off.

Actually you’re doing pretty good. but what exactly do you want to do? Lose weight or be thinner? I’m supposing you want to be thinner. In that case keep doing everything you’re doing.
The only thing you can change is your eating pattern.
Eat 5 small well portioned meals a day.

Just divide the ammount of food you eat daily into 5 meals and it should be kickstarting your metabolism. Measure your belly or whatever part of your body you want to look thinner twice a week. You’re still 17 so you shouldn’t have a problem with the diet and you should start seeing results around the first month.
