Lose 25 Pounds FAQ:

I am 5′ 9 1/2″, weight 162, 17 years old, male, medium buid, looking for a nice girl haha jk, well all of that and I’m taking in 2400 calories a day (for any hard workout you offer). I have like 16 percent body fat.

I am active and just want to know a few tips that you know of or have used to lose weight. Mainly an estimate of calories to be burned (by exercising) running, or jump roping (things that dont cost hardly anything) I have one 20 pound dumbell, and a treadmill, and a punching bag, and a jump rope

I’m able to exercise any amount of time a day, I have time and I will do the hard work just nothing to exagerrated. Please tell me how many i should burn.

thanks

3500 calories equal one pound, so 3500 x 25 pounds=87,500 calories. 87500/90 days= 972.2 calories per day. You can either burn it or eat less calories per day than you do now.
Good luck!

Great question. Calories are only part of the equation.

However, if you want to lose weight there is a phenomenon where people are gaining weight from low calorie and low or non fat foods. Why is this?

Because its not just about counting calories. This is about low glycemic versus high glycemic foods. So, a glycemic indexing chart has been devised.

What does this have to do with you losing weight? If you eat a low calorie food and you spike your insulin level, then you will begin to store fat. If you eat a higher calorie food and keep your insulin level even, you will not store fat unless you over eat, but you won’t because you will be less hungry from foods that take a while to break down.

Insulin is your fat hormone.

So, glycemic indexing merely shows what foods our grandparents and or ancestors ate (how we used to eat before modern processing).

Eat foods closest to their natural state. If you would like more information, message me.

Losing weight is a simple equation: if you burn more calories than you eat, the weight will come off. Start off by estimating how many calories you burn each day using the calorie calculator This will give you an idea of how many calories to eat. Healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week. To lose 1 pound per week you need to create a calorie deficit (burn more than you eat) of 500 calories per day. To lose 2 pounds a week, you have to double the deficit to 1000 calories per day. You can achieve this by eating less, exercising more or a combination of both.

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)
