lose 25 pounds
Lose 25 Pounds FAQ:

I would like to lose 25 pounds by my first cheerleading competition. I weigh about 175 right now and I’m almost 5′9”. I have cheerleading practice once a week soon it’ll be twice. I do privates once a week sometimes twice. I run about a mile every other day and try to condition everyday. I’m also going to start swimming laps in my pool everyday. I’m going to start eating half of all my usual servings and quit snacking and only drink water. Can I lose the weight? What else can I do to help?

Invest in apples. One every single day for breakfast. Oatmeal or a single bowl of cereal. Try to make those two different meals. Invest in corn too like maybe frozen corn. It makes a great midday snack. And you can put ketchup on it mmmm. But really you don’t have to cause it tastes pretty damn good. Then munch on some salad or another fruit like grapes or another apple or something. Maybe make some kind of sandwhich. Then for din din some grilled chicken. Try to have at least 3 of those meals everyday and portion them right. If you keep running everyday your appetite naturally shrinks anyway.

Also I don’t know how strong you are but you might want to buy 5-10 pound weights because there are a billion exercises you can do at home to build muscle in your bedroom. Curls, lateral raises, squats (Try learning the right squat technique and then do 20 in a row for 3-5 sets. It’s a great leg exercise.) Takes maybe 1 and a half commercial breaks to do. (You can tell I watch TV when i do this stuff). Eventually you start doing sets of 30-100, etc.

For the lat raises you’ll haveta do those and feel the burn yourself. I go low weight tons of reps so i can stay in if i want and the low weight makes it a little harder to hurt myself and muscles respond better to reps anyway.

Push ups are great and so is laying down with a dumbell in each hand and quickly doing a few dozen bench presses with them. Then of course there’s crunches. There’s the normal kind (really try to crunch your stomach and squeeze it so you can feel it on every single rep). Then perform some type of exercise to hit the lower abs like maybe lift your feet over your head while laying down. That hits the lower abs like crazy if you can get the positioning right.

When I finally actually combined full ab work with eating well and running roughly 6-10 miles a week my weight melted off for the first time.

But then again I have the belly flab like nobodies business so i guess I needed to turn that area into muscle if I wanted to get rid of it.

The other dumbbell exercises are just in case you have any excess on the legs or arms. but in any case muscle burns fat period. The dieting is for your muscles sake. Muscles need energy to burn otherwise muscle itself gets destroyed and used for energy. It’s a fine line though and as you work out more you’ll feel your portions shrinking as your body becomes more efficient at using energy and burning fat.

They say six meals is recommended but I find that’s impossible to do and 3ish worked fine for me when I combined it with other stuff.

I also try to run 2 miles or so and I try to run fast every now and then just to tire myself out. But that’s hard to do because you really have to focus and keep yourself from tiring.

Good luck.
