set the treadmill to 50 mph. start running like heck
Speedwise: I would recommend starting small. If you are a fast runner, maybe start at 4.0-5.0. When you get used to it, maybe increase speed by maybe 1.5 or 2.0 if you want. It’s all about starting small and getting used to it before you reach your goal.
Time wise: I would recommend doing it in the morning/evening just because it isn’t too hot. And doing it maybe 3 times a day is sufficient.
do a combination of walking running and jogging.
once you get really used to it hold on to the handlebars and walk backwards. it tones your legs like crazy. :]
Okay, here it goes and I’m speaking from experience because I’ve lost weight in the past. Today I’m back to 150 so I’m feeling you right now. Awhile back I went from 150 to 125 but it took me about 3-4 months. It was very hard the first month but it became easier as time went on. First off you have to watch what you eat so I made my portions smaller(buy smaller bowls such as baby bowls) and I ate fruits and some vegetables but honestly its about portions and avoiding fats and soft drinks. Avoid drinks with high frutose. You don’t know how many women praise green teas but have you read the labels? Loaded with frutose so your best bet is cheap good old water. Oh and those teas are diuretics so of course you think you’re losing weight because you’re ****** all the time. Anyway, at that time I just purchased a treadmill and like you wondered how much do I use it? Well you need to start slowly the first week because you don’t want to kill yourself or bore yourself to death. After that I suggest a minimum of one hour a day. Fast walking and running really helps jump starting your heart. With that being said do not eat after 6pm and always always eat at home.
Today I’m back to my weight but its because I stopped taking care of myself which is my fault alone. So, yesterday I decided its time and I’m back on the treadmill. Please don’t give up and just think of it as no matter how long it takes you will lose that weight. I hope this helps because this is what I did to shed my pounds and I intend to do it again. Don’t use diet pills or diet…just make healthy choices. Good Luck!
