Probably, but you may need to add a bit more time. 25 pounds in 18 days. You are going to have to put in an effort. Good Luck : - )
no because the lack of protein and other nutrients will cause your body lower your metabolism.
It’s very unhealthy. You need a balanced diet such as grains (for energy) and protein (to maintain and repair your body/muscles). Don’t forget about dairy as well.
You might lose a few pounds (nowhere near 25) but you’re more likely to just get really ill. The body is not made to lose that amount of weight in a short amount of time, it’s more like 1 to 2 pounds a week. If you have a time frame like 18 days in mind I assume you’re going to some event that you want to look skinny for, but actually you won’t be that much thinner and you’ll just look sick. Depriving your body of the nutrients it needs will affect your skin, hair, nails etc. By cutting so many calories you’ll feel really tired and you will look it. You won’t have enough energy to work out, and if you drink a lot of water you’ll end up bloated. I hope you’re getting the idea that you won’t look more attractive by attempting this, and it is a dangerous thign to do.
When you crash diet you slow down your metabolism, which is the body’s mechanism for burning calories and fat. When you start eating properly again, even if it’s not junk food, you’ll actually gain weight because your metabolism has become slower. So you won’t lose 25 pounds, plus you’ll gain weight once the 18 days is over (by which time you might be in hospital). The best thing to do is start eating healthily and exercising regularly, making gradual changes. You might not think that’ll help for whatever you’re doing in a few weeks, but in the future you won’t have to worry about suddenly shedding a lot of weight and putting your health at risk.
