Started this Diet (lifestyle change) in the middle of November at 140lbs, and now at 119lbs
First of all, you never gained it all in a day, so your not going to lose it all in a day…….
You never gained it all in a week or a month, so your not going to lose it in a week or a month…..
A DIET IS WHAT YOU EAT….there for we are all on a diet….
THINK LIFESTYLE CHANGE
You got the change the way you think and feel about food
TRY THIS, and stick to it.
The first 3-4 weeks are the hardest until your body adjusts to the change.
Results will be in about the same time
Fruits and Veggies
Eat more plants and keep away from stuff that was made in plants.
Don’t eat anything that comes in a can, box or package….
…..THEY HAVE ADDITIVES IN THEM THAT MAKE YOU ADDICTED TO THE FOOD…..
If man made it, don’t eat it
NO white BREAD or SUGAR
NO FRIED FOOD…
Stay away from FAST FOOD
Walk your dog, or walk a friends dog
Don’t think of it as a diet, but think of it as a lifestyle change
I have lost 25.5 pounds in 2 months, drink lots of water. I usually eat a meal of what ever I want once a week….controlled portion….this really works………
Write down every thing you eat
Take a multi vitamin at night
yep, looks that will work, but just make sure you dont end up eatting what you burn, or worse, not eatting enough! You should always eat at least 1100 cals, so try and shoot around 12-1300. Also, sugar intake. You say your staying away from the sweets which is GREAT! If you can look at the food health facts of what your eatting you shouldn’t eat more than 40-50 g of sugar (this is added sugar, meaning the sugars in fruits and veggies don’t count) Also, sodium. Most people forget about sodium, but when you intake a lot of sodium you retain water which makes you bloated. Here is an easy tip to keep this under wraps. Say your eatting…cereal for breakfast and it has in one serving 100 calories, double that amount, so 200, this breakfast cereal shouldn’t have more 200mg of sodium. Thats round about, somethings I let give or take 100mg.
keep up the work, you’ll get there and remember, you are beautiful not matter how much you weigh, its just a number, and as long as your healthy and happy it doesn’t matter! Oh and your body will hit a plateu where it stops losing the weight for a bit, its ok, this happens to everyone, just work through it and don’t give up!
1. Dont look at the scale. If you are working out your scale numbers could go up or only slighty reduce if you gain muscle mass. Muscle mass is leaner then fat but weighs more.
2. Not eating candy is only one step, drink plenty of water, eat fruits/veggies daily and eat about 4-6 small healthy meals
3. Cardio is the fastest way to lose weight, tone up legs, and burn unwanted fat by using your bodies largest muscles
4. Keeping your heart rate up for 10 min. starting intervals and going up as you get in shape helps with after burn. 220 - your age is your 100% target heart rate, you want to stay within 55-75% range. For you that would be 207 beats per min at 100% so aim for keeping your heart rate while exercising at 103-155 beats per minute (approx. 130 would give about 6 hours afterburn). Afterburn keeps the fat burning off for hours after you work out.
5. Watch how many calories you burn v. how many you actually take in a day. 12-1500 average daily healthy diet would need only to burn about 400 at the gym (with above info.) to keep a average of 400 more burning off with afterburn.
If you do not eat properly or take in the proper amount of calories for your exercise regimen you will not look lean your body will start eating away at the muscle and you will look unhealthy and lose energy among other health probs.
You can lose the fatty look and get toned and lean with inches lost and still weigh the same. Its not the number that always has to change to get a slim appearance, its the tone and definition of your body that needs to change. My wife is 5′1″ and weighs 130 but wear a size 2 its all in the definition not the scale weight.
