lose 25 pounds
Lose 25 Pounds FAQ:

I am 14 years old and 5 foot 3. I currently weigh around 133-135, and I am looking to weigh around 110. I really think this would be a good weight for my body size, especially because I have no bust whatsoever ;) Any workout or healthy diet ideas? And how do I increase my willpower or inspiration? I have a hard time staying on track with diets. Thanks guys!

If you attempt to lose 25 lbs in two months, you’d have to severely restrict food intake - not healthy and it’s the reason everyone loses motivation. You can’t maintain that regimen indefinitely.
Just cut back on portion size, eat healthy meals and limit snacks to maybe 100 calories and healthy snacks - - then, make sure you’re getting at least 1 hour of physical activity per day (swimming, walking, cycling - something fun so you’ll stick with it). At your young age, you’ll take that weight off in no time! Good luck!!

a good goal to stick to it losing one pound of body fat per week. i’m trying to lose 60, and that will take me a little over a year….

to do that your body needs to use 500 more calories a day than you take in(eat). you can either subtract that from your daily diet, or burn it off by exercising more. or a combination of both. obviously then you need to find out how much you are eating per day (in calories) and how much you are burning per day. look up an active metabolic rate calculator to find out how much your body is burning per day. then keep a list of all the foods you eat and the calories each day. your can research what activities you are doing to find out how many calories they burn.

this takes a little bit of effort, but it will be worth it in the end.

for motivation, really get involved in it, it’s a mind over matter issue, and it takes commitment. i started a blog to help me stay motivated and document my progress (losinit-135.blogspot.com). also remember that it will be a slow process, if you want to do it the healthy way, and you WILL make mistakes. knowing and accepting that it will happen really helps in staying on track, rather than expect results that are impossible, then getting frusterated when they don’t happen, and wanting to give up….

try caloriecount.about.com it’s a great free site that really helps with this sort of thing… just check it out at least.
