Lose 25 Pounds FAQ:


In six weeks because I am going into basic training for the navy on August 6th and I am 20 lbs overweight for my age/height group. I have been told I need to either lose the 25 lbs to put me right under the weight limit for my height or I need to lose 2 - 3 inches around my waist, but for me I want to lose the 25 lbs to feel better and to get ready for the work outs from hell I’ll be going through in basic. I’ll be going to the gym 5 days a week for an hour or two starting today, and rotating which body area I’ll be working on each day so I don’t burn myself out. Anyone have any advice they can give me?

Let’s see, advice…oh yeah…here’s some.

BE PATIENT.

25 pounds in six weeks is not impossible, but it is unlikely. Eat healthy, exercise, and get enough rest. If you only lose half of what you want, don’t get discouraged. You still can lose the rest in another 4-6 weeks.

I beleive you can loose 25 pounds in six weeks. Stick to 1500 meals. Take a two hour walk at the beginning of the day and a two hour walk at the end of the day. This is to loose fat. I really don’t know what to say about getting muscles. I hope this bit of advice will help though.

You will lose water water. However the best way to lose weight is not by dieting and ******** exercise. I truly believe dieting makes people fat and crazy. 1) it makes you fat beacuse as soon as you go off the diet you will gain the weight back plus more. 2) it makes you crazy because you are obsessed with counting calories and burining as many as you can.

How do I know this well I was a chronic dieter for 10 years and all I managed to do in the long term was gain 60lbs.

What you need to do is only eat when you are HUNGRY, not starving on a scale of one to ten 1 being utterly starving and 10 being completely full you should eat when you are about a 4-5 and stop at a 7-8 or a very very comfortable feeling.

Also drink lots and lots of water every day and only water no soda or diet drinks (the make you fat to) or fruit drinks. occasionally drink milk

Eat whatever you want but watch the amount of sweets you eat

Also for exercise just walk about an hour a day and do 20 min of strengh training moves every other day.

This works!!! I have lost 30lbs in 3 months and feel wonderful!! It is also a life style I can live with instead of being a slave to diets or starving all the time!
