I **** being in public at all. I’m also on a vegetarian diet
but it’d be helpful if you let me know what I should
keep away from. I heard losing the last couple of pounds is the hardest
so I’m actually aiming to lose 30, just so I can get the 25 :]

Eat less. Move more.
well that’s a good time frame. If you do it to fast you’ll just gain it back even faster and eat lots of healthy fats like avocados, nuts and soy protein! Lots of green veggies and dairy like milk and yogurt!!! eliminate sugary soda, coffee drinks and sweets! Eat 1 oz of dark chocolate a day and remember to indulge every once in a while so you don’t tire of your plan!!! As for exercise, at home you can pretty much do anything, like run around the house or walk for 30 minutes five times a day. Or look into some workout dvds. Turbo jam is a good one!!! It really tones you up!! I mean, just go outside in your back yard (if you have one) and run around dance, do jumping jacks. Anything that gets your heart pumping will do!!! Losing weight for the long run is really about trial and error. You just have to find what you like and what works for you!!! Good luck!!!
OK, if you’re on a vegetarian diet, you don’t need to, but I’d recommend some kind of protein supplement… your muscles need it.
You need to do lots and lots of cardio. So, keep up with a healthy diet and do 30 to 45 minutes of high intensity running or elliptical or biking. If you don’t want to go in public, use a treadmill, elliptical, or bike machine. I normally do 15 minutes of running and 15 on the elliptical. Last year, I just ran for 30-60 minutes…. your call!
After your cardio, you have another opportunity to shed some fat by doing a 5-10 minute ab workout. You can do: crunches, reverse crunches, bicycles, planks, roman chairs, leg lifts, etc.
Make sure you stretch before and after! Do this 6 days a week… your body needs a break once a week.
ALSO, i don’t know you… if you can NOT lose the last 5 pounds, don’t push it. Your body may not have 5 more pounds to lose OR you may need to focus your workout on a specific part of the body….
