Lose 25 Pounds FAQ:


I weigh 175 and I am 5′3. Also, do you have any tips to lose weight? I know that people say that exercise is not the only way…but when I was physically active I weighed around 115-120..sometimes more or less, but ever since I got out of school I stopped all of my physical activity and gained about 50 pounds…I also eat more fast food, but I think that it’s mostly the exercise..

Yes, you will probably notice even 10 pounds lost. And you are right. To loose you have to exercise twice: Push away from the table when you have eaten a normal amount of food and exercise the body every day. Do dance steps, arm exercises and lay on your back and bicycle in the air. Keep doing this while lowering your legs and it will get harder and you know the abs are being worked. Good luck.

You will definitely notice!! At your height that’ll be two or three dress sizes!

More exercise will help, because right now you’re probably used to eating as much as you did when you were burning way more energy. If you start expending more energy, like you did during school, you’ll drop back down.

1400 calories, 1 hour of exercise a day. Find 2 - 5 exercises, sports you like and will keep up for the next 50 years.

Yes you will notice and so will others. Walking a half hour to an hour every day is good exercise. Also don’t drink any sweetened drinks. Fast foods have a lot of calories.
Weight gain is very common when kids get out of school not only because they don’t get physical exercise, but they are past their growth period so they don’t use as many calories up. You also have to cut back on calories.

My wife also gained some weight after school. Her solution was making herself wake up early and walk or do a fun exercise. She enjoyed Zumba a lot. Also, we made an effort around the house to throw away bad foods, and buy healthier (but still easy to make) meals. We also noticed we were saving a lot of money this way!! She’s a little shorter than 5′3″ and we definitely noticed when she lost just 10 lbs so I know you’ll notice 25-30!

Most importantly, feel great about yourself.. and have a desire to lose the weight you feel you need to lose. Surround yourself with positive, supportive people!

wow thats exactly my story… except i gained a lot of weight through stress i think during one of my most active times. You will deffinately notice the weight loss you would probably drop at least two dress sizes ( maybe up to four depends on your body) But definitely good luck !!
You need to lay off the fast foods and maybe do a little more exercising where you can I weighed about 125 but I’m at about 165 now im slowly working on it but i want my old dress size back…and i want to be able to double cross my legs again without working too hard at it so:)

That happened to me when I got out of the Army…lol. I swore I would never run again unless there was a tiger chasing me.

I had a baby two months ago and I lost all the baby weight no problem, even two pounds extra. Then I got stuck there and couldn’t get past it. So I started the slim fast diet and holy cow, the weight just falls off. I was on it for a week and lost five pounds. I want to lose about 40 though, so I know I have a long way to go. I figure I will stay on the slim fast thing and when it stops working by it’s self, I will start exercising.
